Ainerukundo Edwins is a Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Road Safety professional with extensive experience supporting donor-funded road safety, public health and policy advocacy projects in Uganda. He currently serves as an HSE / Road Safety Officer at Uganda Road Accident Reduction Network Organization (URRENO), where he leads occupational safety, health, environmental safeguards, and community road safety initiatives across national and international programmes.

He has contributed to major projects supported by the UN Road Safety Fund, Ministry of Works and Transport, Global Road Safety Partnership, Enable, the World Bank and the Global Alliance of NGOs for Road Safety, focusing on crash data systems, school road safety, community awareness and policy accountability. His work spans research, field data collection, training facilitation and safeguards implementation, with particular expertise in ISO 45001 occupational health and safety systems, accident investigation and environmental sustainability.

Edwins holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Uganda Christian University and combines strong analytical and digital skills with practical road safety and HSE experience, making him a valuable asset to multidisciplinary road safety and development projects.
