UN Global Road safety week 2026 (8-12 May)
The 8th UN Global Road Safety Week will be held from May 8 to 12, 2026. This week-long event aims to increase awareness and promote road safety worldwide. It happens every two years and is organized by the World Health Organization (WHO). It brings together people, governments, NGOs, companies, and other groups to spread the word about road safety and encourage actions that reduce road deaths. This year’s theme is “safe walking and cycling”, focusing on proven ways to make walking and cycling safer.
