NATIONAL ROAD SAFETY CONFERENCE- Uganda
In a groundbreaking move towards curbing the intensifying number of road crashes and fatalities, Uganda is set to host its first-ever National Road Safety Conference – slated on the 14th -15th at Speke resort Munyonyo- a landmark event that will bring together a broad spectrum of stakeholders committed to making the country’s roads safer for all.
The conference themed Road safety for social economic transformation will serve as a powerful platform for dialogue, collaboration, and action. Government agencies, civil society organizations, academia, international development partners, transport operators, and community leaders will gather to deliberate on effective strategies for road safety, among which will include the launch of the new speed regulations and probable solutions to the increasing number of road crashes.
